Up the stairs, with leopard carpeting, a nod to its past as an upscale strip club, we found more of its past. A large platform stage which, tonight, was serving as buffet table! Clearly it had contained a pole for the stripper… that made us all laugh. More tables with cozy chairs and
a nice view of the folks dancing below.

Ah the VIEW! That was the best part as Obcanska Plovarna is right on the river, facing the Law Faculty, and has a view of the whole river. Wow, we thought this is going to be great. But then it got even better… we went up one more level to what seemed to be a VIP lounge and found 3 bucket chairs a table located right next to the window… PERFECT we can Charles Bridge and Old Town Square fireworks from here!

We enjoyed cool crisp mojitos while waiting for the magic hour and then about 11:45, a waitress came by with splits of Bohemia Sekt for everyone!! Caught up in the excitement, we ran outside, with most everyone else, and stood on the banks of the river watching the fireworks. It was MAGIC!! From our vantage point all the fireworks in the city were visible so the whole sky was covered in light… mmm this is where the swans come in. >>>
